hfst-ospell software package provides Spell checker library and tool based on HFST, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hfst-ospell
hfst-ospell is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hfst-ospell package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hfst-ospell *
You will get with hfst-ospell package name, version, architecture and description in a table
